YOUTH

Meeks & Associates continues its long standing commitment to youth voices and leadership in Iowa and its efforts towards improvements in quality of life experiences. So its mission targets youth and community.

History of youth support:

• 2016-2020 MID inclusion & Diversity Awards offered to student recipients in Des Moines, West Des Moines, and Waterloo.
• 2012-2018  "Connecting Young Hearts and Minds" initiative. Working with high school students in Des Moines, West Des Moines, and Waterloo.
• 2015-2016 "Connecting low income households to safe & healthy school access/participation".
• 2008, 2009; Meeks & Associates provided financial support for "Young Men In Action" 18 sessions series (in 15 of the 18 sessions).
• 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009; Meeks & Associates provide $2,700 in financial support to local Slam Poetry,
• 2007 fall; Meeks & Associates provides $100 in back-to-school supplies to needy youth during slam poetry competition.
• 2006 fall; Meeks & Associates support local Coaches Corner program.
• 2006 October; Meeks & Associates provide $400 donation for 100 football tickets donated to the community for attendance and support of local East High School athletics.
• 2004 Meeks & Associates fund $500 in scholarship donations to annual Iowas Mosaic Diversity Conference, Ames, Iowa. Providing 18 youth the opportunity to attend.
• 2003 Meeks & Associates fund $500 in scholarship donations to annual Iowas Mosaic Diversity Conference, Ames, Iowa. Providing 18 youth the opportunity to attend.
